Rule 21
(a) The Secretary of the IPC shall invite Members of the IPC to submit to the Secretariat written nominations for the IPC Chair six months or more before the scheduled election of the IPC Chair, unless Rule 11 applies.
(b) The Secretary of the IPC shall invite Members of the IPC to submit to the Secretariat written nominations for all other IPC Bureau and Task Force Bureau positions six months or more before the scheduled
election of the IPC Bureau or a Task Force Bureau.
(c) Nominations should be submitted in writing to the Secretariat at least one month before a scheduled election. A nomination should include the curriculum vitae of the person nominated, as well as a
Disclosure Form in accordance with the IPC Policy on Conflict of Interest. Upon its receipt the Secretariat shall post the curriculum vitae on the IPC website.
(d) Members of the IPC may also nominate a person for the IPC Chair, the IPC Bureau or the Task Force Bureau by making oral representations to the Panel at the Session at which an election is to be held.
Individuals so nominated must provide curriculum vitae for distribution to the Panel at the time of nomination, as well as submit a Disclosure Form to the Secretariat in accordance with the IPC Policy
on Conflict of Interest.
At its 42nd Session, scheduled to take place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, from 5-8 October 2015, the IPC will elect a new IPC Bureau and a new Bureau of the Task Force on National Greenhouse Gas Inventories.
With letter of 13 March 2015 the Secretary of the IPC invited Members of the IPC to submit written nominations for the IPC Chair and all other IPC Bureau and Task Force Bureau positions. Consistent with
Rule 21 of the Procedures for IPC Elections the curriculum vitae of nominees are posted on this website. The full text of the Procedures for IPC Elections as well as the Conflict of Interest
